Liverpool 173 is a medium sized Age Care development with multiple separate external zones and gardens to provide the residents with various experiences and activities to participate in throughout the day and evening such as sensory gardens, vegetable gardens, walking loops and social seating zones and external eating spaces. All external spaces are set amongst lush and colourful planting palette to keep the visual interest high.

Image: The long winding entry is aligned with lush planting and various entrance thresholds for both cars and pedestrians including shade trees and material changes.

Image: The largest of all external courtyards consists of feature trees for vibrant colour, hanging gardens, overhead structure with climbers, flexible and fixed table and chair settings for varying social options, multiple birdbaths at carefully considered focal points and a loop path for circulation and exercise.
